Choose the Right NFC Chip

NTAG213 NTAG215 and NTAG216 work in a similar way but provide different amounts of user memory. For most projects the choice depends on how much data will be stored and whether the label must match an existing product or application.

Application Surfaces and Water Resistance

Standard NFC stickers can be applied to paper plastic glass wood fabric and other nonmetallic surfaces. Adhesive performance can vary on rough curved flexible or textured surfaces. Metal can interfere with NFC reading so metal products and metallic packaging require a specially designed anti metal NFC label.

A laminated water resistant surface is available for moisture or occasional splashes. Overall water protection also depends on the label edges adhesive mounting surface and exposure conditions. Please tell us if the label will face washing outdoor weather chemicals or prolonged water contact.

Do NFC stickers work with iPhone and Android phones?

NTAG213 NTAG215 and NTAG216 labels can be read by compatible NFC enabled iPhone and Android phones. The phone may display a notification that the user taps to open the encoded content. Reading behavior depends on the phone model operating system settings and data format.

Can NFC stickers be rewritten?

Yes. The user memory can normally be rewritten while it remains unlocked. If permanent read only locking has been applied the locked memory cannot be changed back to normal writable use.

Can you add password protection or lock the data?

Yes. Password protection and permanent read only locking are available depending on the selected chip and data requirement. Tell us whether you want the tag to remain editable before we encode the order.

Can NFC stickers work on metal?

Standard NFC stickers are designed for nonmetallic surfaces. Direct use on metal requires an anti metal NFC label with a special isolation structure.

Are NFC stickers waterproof？

A laminated water resistant surface is available. The final level of water protection depends on the face material laminate adhesive edges mounting surface and exposure conditions. Sample testing is recommended for demanding environments.

Can every label have a different QR code or URL？

Yes. We can print and encode different QR codes URLs barcodes and serial numbers for each label. Chip UIDs can also be matched with the encoded and printed data on a one to one basis.

Does the NFC sticker include a website review platform or software？

No. We supply the physical NFC labels printing variable data and encoding. Websites Google Review pages digital business card platforms and other software systems are provided or managed by the customer or a separate service provider.

Normal production time is 7 to 8 working days after all details are confirmed.
