What Makes the Sealed Edge Different?

A standard epoxy key tag has a clear coating on its printed faces, but its white core may still be visible from the side. On this version, the transparent edge covers that visible side and forms a rounded border around the tag. The difference is easiest to see in a side-view photo. It is a useful option when the appearance of the entire key tag matters, including its edge.

The chip should match the device and system that will read the tag. If you already use RFID key tags, send us your reader model, current tag sample or required chip type. How is this different from your standard epoxy key tag?

The difference is the edge. The clear, rounded epoxy border covers the white core that may be visible from the side of a standard tag.

Is the sealed-edge tag waterproof?

Yes, the finished tag is fully waterproof. We do not specify an IP rating for this product.

Can I order a custom size or shape?

Yes. Along with 30 mm, 38 mm and 45 mm round tags, we offer square, rectangular and custom shapes and sizes.

Can both sides be printed?

Yes. We can print custom artwork on both sides and add QR codes or individual numbers.
