Polylactic (PLA) is a new biodegradable material made from starch extracted from renewable plant resources such as corn and straw. The starch raw material was obtained by saccharification, the high purity lactic acid was produced by fermentation of the monosaccharide and certain strains, and the polylactic acid with certain molecular weight was synthesized by chemical synthesis method.
