These printable UHF RFID laundry tags are made for identifying and tracking reusable textiles through industrial washing cycles. They are available in two different structures including a sew on tag and a heat seal tag with a factory applied adhesive layer. The polyester surface can carry printed identification while the UHF chip stores electronic data for compatible laundry and textile tracking systems. Different sizes chips printing and encoding services are available according to the textile reader and installation method.

Choose the Installation Method
Sew On Laundry Tags
Sew on tags are attached directly to the textile using the recommended stitching area. The sewing line should avoid the internal chip and antenna area. This option is suitable when a permanent stitched attachment is preferred or when the textile is not suitable for heat pressing.
Heat Seal Laundry Tags
Heat seal tags include a factory applied adhesive layer and are attached with heat and pressure. The correct temperature pressure and pressing time depend on the textile material and should be confirmed through testing before production. The two installation options use different tag structures. Please tell us which method you plan to use when requesting samples or a quotation.
Choose the UHF Chip
NXP UCODE 9xe Impinj M830 and other common UHF chips are available. The chip should be selected according to the required EPC memory tag size read performance printer or encoder and the customer’s existing RFID system. If you already have a specified chip please send us the model. If not provide the application reader and data requirements and we can confirm a suitable option.

Common Questions
Which installation method should I choose?
Choose sew on installation when stitching is practical or the textile is unsuitable for heat pressing. Choose heat seal installation when a flat adhesive attachment is preferred and the textile can withstand the required heat and pressure.
Can I print and encode the tags with my own RFID printer?
This depends on the printer model media sensor roll core label gap and encoding configuration. Send us the printer model before ordering so we can confirm a suitable roll format.
Will every tag size read from 12 to 15 m?
No. This is a reference range for suitable tag models and test conditions. Smaller sizes textile stacking reader settings and the installation environment can reduce the actual distance.
Can you match printed and electronic data?
Yes. EPC TID barcodes QR codes and printed serial numbers can be matched individually according to the customer's data rules.
