RFID, BLE bring sensory data to ChatGPT

RFID, BLE bring sensory data to ChatGPT

March 02, 2023

ChatGPT is an artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot technology touted as a solution to transform everything from student research to mental health treatment through its ability to interact with humans and learn from each interaction.

Technology startup XO2Tech says it enhances ChatGPT by analyzing RFID transmissions to sense what's going on around people and products, by providing sensory data that informs the system.

So what does this have to do with RFID? According to entrepreneur Edward Espinosa, CEO of XO2Tech. They have some very exciting synergies that together drive a new kind of powerful interactive supply and demand chain, and consumer-facing applications. RFID tags do the physical work of transmitting data when interrogated, and the data can be everything from a simple ID number to sensor information captured based on RF field changes. chatGPT uses AI algorithms to solve problems, thus allowing users to derive value from this data.

Pass RF wave detection conditions

XO2Tech's RFTracker application collects sensing data by tracking the RF characteristics of passive ultra-high frequency (UHF) or near-field communication (NFC) RFID or Bluetooth low power (BLE) transmissions. When a reader interrogates a tag, the tag responds with its unique ID number. However, the transmission can be influenced by the surrounding environment.

the company is currently discussing bringing the solution to commercial markets such as healthcare, retail inventory management and home personal life management
