RFID Countdown Wristband System for Amusement Park Time and Access Management

Running a time-based amusement venue means more than reminding visitors when their session ends. Staff also need to control entry, manage different session lengths and check for overtime at the exit. Meihe offers a complete time and access management solution built around the MH-CR03 RFID countdown wristband. The wristband displays the remaining time and provides LED and vibration reminders, while readers, turnstiles and supporting software handle time settings, access permissions and exit checks. One wristband connects the visitor's entry, play session and departure.

Complete RFID Countdown Wristband and Turnstile Solution for Time Based Amusement Parks

Manage timed play and entry with an integrated RFID countdown wristband and turnstile solution for indoor playgrounds and trampoline parks with technical support.

How the Complete System Works

1. Register the Wristband and Assign Access

Staff register the wristband UID in the system, then assign the visitor’s play duration and permitted activity areas.

2. Scan to Enter and Start the Countdown

The entrance reader checks the wristband’s permission and opens the turnstile when access is valid. The countdown can start immediately when staff write the time or be customized to start when the visitor scans at the entrance.

3. Display the Remaining Play Time

The MH-CR03 wristband displays the remaining time and provides colorful LED indication during the session. Five minutes before the end, it shows a yellow light and vibrates three times.

4. Remind Visitors and Check Expired Access

When the session ends, the wristband follows the selected reminder program. The system can block expired wristbands from entering again and apply rules to prevent repeated entry.

5. Check at the Exit

The exit reader checks the wristband status. For overtime sessions, the exit can be configured to withhold automatic opening and refer the visitor to staff for assistance.

6. Collect and Reuse

Staff collect the wristbands, clear the timers and update access permissions through the system before issuing them again. Wristbands are recharged as needed.

Best For

Indoor Playgrounds: Connect countdown reminders and access permissions in one workflow, reducing repeated ticket checks and manual timekeeping.

Trampoline Parks: Manage fixed sessions such as 30, 60, 90 or 120 minutes. Visitors check their remaining time on the wristband, while turnstiles control passage according to valid permissions.

Family Entertainment Centers: Use the same wristband for countdown reminders, access control and member identification, helping front-desk and entrance staff work together.

Multi Zone Activity Centers: Assign different play durations and access permissions to different areas within the venue.

Common Questions

Can I start with countdown wristbands and add turnstiles later?

Yes. You can begin with wristbands, a time setter and charging equipment. When adding turnstiles, the existing equipment, wristband program and supporting software configuration need to be checked together.

Can the countdown start when the visitor actually enters?

Yes. An entrance-triggered start can be customized. The standard countdown starts immediately after staff write the time to the wristband.

Does every wristband need to be registered?

For access control, the UID must be registered and assigned valid permission. An unregistered wristband cannot simply open the gate.

Can different zones have different play times?

Yes. Separate durations and access permissions can be configured for each zone according to the venue’s operating process.

What happens when a visitor exceeds the play time?

The wristband follows the selected reminder program, and the system can prevent re-entry. The exit can also be configured to require staff assistance instead of opening automatically for an overtime wristband.

Can the wristband identify members?

Yes. A registered wristband can be used for member identification. Specific membership functions depend on the software configuration.

Does the countdown pause automatically?

The standard countdown does not pause automatically. Staff can clear it with the time setter and set a new duration.
